Rei is F-ing Weird

A storybook for grown-up weirdos everywhere

Rei is F-ing Weird is a children’s-style picture book written for adults who grew up different.

Rei is 12-years-old, and already tired of being herself. Her Scared Part tells her to hide her weirdness. Her Angry Part swears at her when she messes up. Her Wise Part tries to remind her that she’s enough, but it’s hard to hear that tiny voice.

By the end of one school day, Rei does something different: she sits with the other “weird kids.” To her surprise, it feels… right. For the first time, her Scared and Angry parts fall silent, and the Wise Part reminds her of what was true all along: You have always been good enough. You are good enough as you are when you find your tribe.

Edgy, playful, and a little sweary, Rei is F-ing Weird is a book for every grown-up who still carries their awkward inner child. It’s a survival story disguised as a picture book, an affirmation for everyone who ever held their breath just to fit in.

20% of net proceeds from this book will be donated to Autism Swim (AS).
